WATCH: Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Brutally Flubs an Answer to a Question on Nancy Pelosi
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has a knack for kicking off rounds of right-Twitter mockery. Today’s example is her rambling attempt to comment on House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and her role with democrats.
.@Ocasio2018 on Nancy Pelosi: "I think absolutely right now..she is the leader of..no no, um, she is speaker..or rather leader Pelosi..hopefully we’ll see..she’s ah..she’s the current leader of the party and..the party absolutely does have its leadership in the House and Senate" pic.twitter.com/6FUTWpgS98

The very popular candidate and face of the surging pro-socialism, anti-borders left has a way with words, that absolutely, right now, we’ll hopefully see, she can, rather, will, having better at. Like.
Conservative speaker, author, and editor Ben Shapiro challenged Ocasio-Cortez this week to debate him, and offered to donate to her campaign if she agrees. Today, he knocked her over the Pelosi clip.
This is painful. It’s Miss South Carolina on maps bad. https://t.co/8zUhqEEdf4

But he was by no means alone.
It’s like listening to Greg Focker pray in “Meet The Parents.” https://t.co/PxLHTJqm3J

I think it’s time to stop doing interviews and do some crash studying and media training. Her win was impressive, but she is a bartender not ready for the big show. https://t.co/8lKls3ywwS

The polite thing to do would be to put this campaign out of its misery, the way she assumes socialist hospitals will do to their dying patients.
Please don’t, though. This is just so entertaining. https://t.co/qHk8LnuERU

What you just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. https://t.co/G5SmQJRXPy

Heh. References.
There were media figures too.

Even Donald Trump Jr. weighed in.
OMG this is insane and yet the liberal campaign to make her the rockstar face of the left will continue… let’s face it, I guess they don’t have much else. It’s amazing the illusions libs can create with the MSM in their back pocket. #walkaway https://t.co/RCQ5LsovhR

Not that there wasn’t some whatabout.
The people sharing this admittedly painful clip are, by and large, people who supported a presidential candidate who thought there were twelve articles in the Constitution, didn’t know what the nuclear triad is, and was vague on nearly all matters of substance https://t.co/EbKU1ydVTW

I mean…
But perhaps the best – and by the way totally accurate – tweet was from Meghan McCain.
If a conservative woman had made half her errors it would be plastered all over late night tv and the internet

So true. And in fact the example Shapiro used, Miss South Carolina, remains a meme and the subject of mainly left-wing mockery to this day.
