WATCH: Amazon Truck Hit Head-On by Sleeping Driver, Deliveryman Limps Out to Drop Off Package

An Amazon courier in Texas could be seen leaping from his van to finish delivering his parcels just moments after his vehicle was smashed in a brutal head-on collision with a sleeping, unlicensed driver.

The crash, captured in a surreal moment by a doorbell camera in Mineral Wells, shows a car veering into the path of the Amazon van before slamming into it. Dashon Holloman, the driver for Amazon, can be seen limping from the vehicle as neighbors rush to help.

The at-fault driver, Micah Meeks, had fallen asleep at the wheel while returning from work, according to Mineral Wells police. He was reportedly driving without a valid license and received a citation at the scene. Police noted, “a co-worker was following him when the accident occurred.”

Despite the crash, Holloman reportedly ensured every package was delivered before heading to the hospital for treatment of a minor knee injury. One witness, homeowner Kristy Miller, whose camera recorded the footage, said the injured driver’s first words to her were: “Did you get your package?”

Police found no evidence of alcohol or excessive speed.

Amazon later issued a statement to Fox Digital, thanking the customer who assisted Holloman and said it was grateful both individuals were safe.
