WATCH: Director Michael Bay Has a Bizarre Mini-Meltdown at Samsung Event
Samsung held a big press event at the Consumer Electronics Show today, and they brought on director Michael Bay to show off their new curved ultra-high definition TVs. And much like Transformers, what started off as promising ended rather badly when Bay had a mini-meltdown over a teleprompter flub and left the stage.
Samsung executive Joe Stinziano brought on Bay to talk about the benefits of watching movies on such a grand television. Bay and Stinziano did a scripted bit about movies that captivate audiences by focusing on exciting visual elements, but 30 seconds into it Bay stopped because of a prompter issue.
He tried brushing it off and winging it, but it took only one sentence for Bay to stop, pause awkwardly, and then just walking off-stage saying “I’m sorry.”
