WATCH LIVE: Ferguson Police Chief Makes Statement on Michael Brown Shooting

The Ferguson, Missouri Police Chief Jon Belmar will make a statement to the press Thursday, August 14 beginning at approximately 1 p.m. ET to discuss the shooting of 18-year-old unarmed Michael Brown by a police officer that occurred this past weekend.

On Wednesday, the Ferguson Police Department issued its first press release about the incident, which requested the residents of city confine their protests to daytime hours.
