WATCH LIVE: White House Press Briefing with Sarah Huckabee Sanders
White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders will meet the press corps in a briefing set for 3:00 p.m. ET.
What will be on today’s docket? There’s the little matter of the sudden resignation of Rachel Brand, the third-ranking official at the Justice Department. Why did she do it? What does this mean, if anything, for the Russia investigation? And, most important of all, why Walmart?
There also continues to be fallout over another sudden resignation within our government. White Houde aide Rob Porter‘s departure, amid spousal abuse allegations, is still causing quite the headache for President Donald Trump and his administration. What does this mean for Chief of Staff John Kelly, and how much did he know prior to last week?
Trump’s forthcoming infrastructure plan is also likely to be a topic of interest, with reporters likely to wonder just how much this thing is to cost and what kind of jobs it will create. Plus, there’s the president’s denial to release the Democrats’ response to the Rep. Dev Nunes (R-Ca) memo. particularly in light of, you know, his speedy release of the Republican memo.
You can find out the answers to all of these questions, and likely more, when you tune in at 3:00 p.m. See ya there!
