WATCH: Oliver Stone’s Snowden Movie Gets Its First Teaser Trailer

Things get real dark in the creepy new teaser trailer for Oliver Stone’s Snowden biopic, starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt as NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden.

We don’t get to see the protagonist in action, but we hear a haunting cover of “This Little Light of Mine” as text on the screen recounts just how Snowden came to be “the most wanted man in the world” at just 29 years old.

By the time the words “One Nation Under Surveillance for Liberty and Justice for All” appear on an upside down American flag, there is little doubt as to whether Stone views Snowden as a “hero” or a “traitor.”
