YouTube is embracing this week’s Supreme Court rulings on marriage equality with open arms. The company’s official channel released a video tribute to the LGBT community that features emotional scenes of young people coming out on camera and as series of jubilant same-sex marriage proposals caught on tape.
The video, titled “Show your pride. Share your love,” is set to Macklemore and Ryan Lewis’ gay rights anthem “Same Love” and also includes clips of Ellen DeGeneres, Neil Patrick Harris and President Obama. More than anything, the video demonstrates how integral YouTube has become to the way people–gay or straight–share their most intimate moments with the world.
