‘What Is He Hiding?’: CNN Panel Goes Off on Trump’s Postponed News Conference

The panel on CNN’s OutFront tonight went off on President-elect Donald Trump‘s postponement of his news conference addressing his business conflicts.

Jamie Gangel said that while Trump’s team wants to make sure they deal with this in the right way, putting this off feels a little like a repeat of the whole tax returns controversy.

“The question is,” Brian Stelter asked, “what is he hiding?… What is he afraid to answer?”

He brought up how Trump has not done a single press conference since his election victory and wondered, “What is it he doesn’t want to answer?”

Jeff Lord said Trump likely delayed this presser to make sure he has everything in order before he addresses the public on his businesses. He also added that Trump has been doing everything he can to get his message out around the media.

Stelter pointed out that Trump’s delay will only fuel the anger against him.

Gangel summed the whole thing up thusly: “Welcome to the world of Donald Trump.”
