Which 2016 Presidential Candidate Does Loser.com Link To?
Ever heard of Loser.com? It’s one of the oldest, simplest Internet troll websites in the world, and it recently chose a new target — Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump.
According to the Washington Post, the website used to redirect to the Wikipedia page of rapper Kanye West. However, the Internet recently noticed a significant change to the website’s redirect link. One might say it was quite a YUUUUUGE adjustment. So now when users click on any link to Loser.com, it takes them to Trump’s Wikipedia page instead.
Back in March, when the website’s redirect was first changed to West’s Wikipedia entry, WaPo produced a short history of the website’s past trolling victims. They include (but are not limited to) the front page of Reddit, an article about Wisconsin Rep. Sean Duffy, Wikileaks, then-presidential candidate Barack Obama‘s 2008 campaign website, another site opposing former South Carolina governor Jim Hodges, and the campaign website for Al Gore and Joseph Lieberman.
Neither Trump himself nor his staff have responded to Loser.com’s new redirect, but oh won’t it be a day whenever they do!
