Vice President Kamala Harris is challenging former President Donald Trump to another debate following Tuesday’s debate. The right-of-center Drudge Report declared the debate “The End” for Trump.

The Washington Post reported soon after the debate ended, “The Democrat’s campaign plans to announce after Tuesday’s debate a desire for a second meetup with the GOP nominee before the November elections, according to a person familiar with the plan who spoke on the condition of anonymity to describe internal deliberations. The decision to request another debate was made before both candidates took the stage Tuesday night.”

Harris advisor Brian Fallon posted to X after the debate, writing, “That was fun. let’s do it again.”

The two vice presidential candidates are currently set to debate on October 1st in New York City, in a debate hosted by CBS. The Post noted in its report that “Network executives have proposed a wide array of possible dates for future meetings of Harris and Trump, giving both campaigns multiple options for another setting.”

This is a developing story and has been updated.
