Donald Trump Jr. Says Being President Would Be a ‘Step Down’ For His Dad
In the spin room after last night’s Las Vegas presidential debate, the eldest son of Republican nominee Donald Trump told Fox News that the job of President of the United States would be a “step down” for his father.
Talking about how his dad is a “real American” who speaks to “real Americans” and not at them, Donald Trump Jr. tried to slam Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton’s political experience as a negative while pumping up the senior Trump’s business history.
“Unlike Hillary Clinton, who’s gotten very rich being a politician, peddling American influence, he hasn’t — this is only a step down,” Trump Jr. told Fox News’ Bill Hemmer.

The Trump scion also talked about the recent Project Veritas tapes when Hemmer wanted to know why the Trump campaign continued to go negative on Clinton, claiming that Hillary’s team is sending operatives to their rallies to stir up trouble.
He also claimed that Clinton was committing widespread fraud this election, pointing to recent WikiLeaks dumps. Trump Jr. expressed his feelings that this showed the hypocrisy in the system.
“It’s only outrageous if you’re a conservative and you did something,” he said.
