Mark Levin Unloads on ‘Third Reich Bannon’ for Claiming Trump Can Serve Third Term

Fox News host Mark Levin blasted Steve Bannon on Wednesday for continuing to insist that President Donald Trump can serve a third term.

The 22nd Amendment to the Constitution limits presidents to two full terms. Despite this, Bannon has claimed that “there’s a plan” in place that would allow Trump to run and win again in 2028.

“He’s going to get a third term. So Trump ’28, Trump is going to be president in ’28, and people just ought to get accommodated with that,” Bannon said in an interview with The Economist last week.

For his part, Trump has floated the idea on occasion and even has “Trump 2028” hats in the Oval Office. But on Tuesday, Trump finally acknowledged, “I’m not allowed to run.”

On Wednesday morning, Levin took aim at Bannon on X in a blistering post that cited Bannon’s guilty plea in February on charges of defrauding donors who believed they were giving money to a private venture to build a wall on the southern border. While doing so, Levin referred to his target as “Third Reich Bannon”:

I’ve explained repeatedly a president can serve two full terms under the Constitution. That’s it. President Trump has been trolling the media and Democrats. He clearly stated today on Air Force One that he’s limited by the Constitution.

Third Reich Bannon, a confessed and convicted fraudster-felon, once again has lied to his audience and, once again, the media kept reporting what this clown had to say — that the president would run for a third term. He lies to his audience, the leftwing media promote him, and he’s a self-serving impotent demagogue.

On his way out of office in 2021, Trump pardoned Bannon, who was under federal indictment over the border wall scheme. The pardon spared his former adviser from federal ramifications, but Bannon was later indicted by prosecutors in New York on state charges.

Levin’s post came two days after Trump confidant Roger Stone authored a similarly brutal takedown of Bannon.

“The 22nd amendment to US Constitution makes it impossible for Donald Trump to have another term,” he wrote on X. “Steve Bannon, who knows Little about American politics does know that this. This is an attempt by a slovenly buffoon and Jeffrey Epstein associate to get clicks.”
