Mike Flynn Tells Steve Bannon He’s Israel’s ‘Biggest Fan’ But Warns the ‘American People Are Not’ Anymore

Former general and Trump national security advisor, Mike Flynn, joined Steve Bannon’s WarRoom podcast on Wednesday and both warned that the world was marching toward a global conflict and said that the American people are “tired” of Israel.

During the interview, Flynn, who became a leading MAGA influencer and conspiracy theorist during Trump’s first term, suggested that the October 7th attack on Israel took place with some “inside” knowledge in Israel.

“Hang on, hang on. Whoa, whoa, whoa. Hang on. You can’t drop a bomb like that. Mike Flynn, you are the former head of DIA (Defense Intelligence Agency), first national security advisor, President Trump, a revered figure globally,” Bannon jumped in, adding:

You’re saying your sources are telling you on the investigation that they’re trying to slow down and slow walk over there because we’re coming up on the second anniversary of it. You are saying that you’re hearing there’s testimony or documents or actual evidence that certain elements of the Israeli military were told to stand down, because I know from people I know, this is a very contentious area and it’s going to be explosive. Are you hearing the same thing?

“Steve, you can go back to interviews that I did like the next day and the following week after October 7th in multiple broad alternative media, where I said something went wrong because Steve, I have personally walked that border. I have been down in those areas and I know the details of how the Israelis, one of the most secure borders in the world, how they do their operations. So I know that. So something broke down and it wasn’t because of mistakes. So that’s number one,” Flynn replied, adding:

These internal machinations that are going on right now, they’re going to have to come to grips with this because I’m going to tell you, the American people, they’re getting tired of it. They’re getting tired of this constant, you know, ‘Israel, Israel, Israel,’ and I’m the biggest fan. I’m a biggest fan [sic].

I would, you know, I have, I have been to Israel many times. I have served alongside them. I’ve done things with them, certainly on the intelligence side. So I’m their biggest fan, but the American people are not. And the American people are so tired of all of the craziness and our involvement in these things.

“But Mike, but Mike, Mike, they’re ratcheting up. When you hear we’re going to occupy Gaza, when even the chief of staff of the IDF goes, are you crazy? Our troops, our IDF regulars, forget the reserves, our regulars are worn out right now. We haven’t taken down the military capability of Hamas. Let’s leave the hostages aside. When you hear occupy, I hear American troops to go occupy like in Baghdad,” Bannon replied, adding:

Because this was, the IDF, just like the Israelis couldn’t defend themselves when they started the war with the Persians and didn’t have the offensive capability to take out, and they knew that, Netanyahu knew that at the beginning.

Here, there is no possibility they have the ability to occupy Gaza. Don’t take it from me, the chief of staff of the IDF is a pretty tough hombre. He’s telling them, we can’t do that. Are you crazy? This thing’s getting ratcheted up at the very time you’re saying, hey, we need transparency and we need to tone it down, sir.

“Yeah, we definitely need to tone it down. Now, I will tell you that I want people, as another reminder, reminder of the Marine barracks in Beirut that were blown up, right? Because we were occupying Beirut at the time. We were doing operations there. I mean, we have got to remember a lot of history that people don’t want to bring up with a president of the United States,” Flynn argued, concluding:

So before we start making decisions about what we’re gonna do or not do, and this is in support of Israel, there’s a lot of soul-searching that needs to be done, not only in the Israeli leadership halls, but also here in the United States. The last thing I’d say, Steve, is the Arab world, and this is my shot across the bow to them, they had better step up because we are pouring billions and billions of dollars into the Arab world for all these deals, Qatar being one of them.

You know, Trump just did a big old visit there a couple of months back. I mean, they have got to take some responsibility. Otherwise, this is just going to continue to be a cycle of violence, a cycle of war, and it’s going to draw the United States into something that we can’t afford any longer. All while we are having, all while we are on a war footing right here in our own country, Steve.

Later in the discussion, Flynn pushed for Trump to personally work to lower the temperature globally by pressuring Russia’s Putin and China’s Xi to step back their aggressive posturing globally.
