Trump Goes On All-Caps Easter Posting Spree, Angrily Calls Himself ‘GREATEST FRIEND AMERICAN CAPITALISM EVER HAD!’

President Donald Trump went on a brief afternoon social media spree on Easter Sunday, commenting tariffs, Russia, and the Easter Egg Hunt with a mostly all-caps series of posts shared to his Truth Social platform in just over half an hour.
The afternoon slew of posts began without the caps lock when he posted a quote without any other comment just before 4pm.
“The World will not be destroyed by those who do evil, but rather by those who watch them without doing anything to stop them,” he wrote, a quote attributed to Albert Einstein.
An early example of Einstein expressing the thought appears to come from a note he wrote to author Josep Maria Corredor about Spanish cellist Pablo Casals:
What I particularly admire in him is the firm stand he has taken, not only against the oppressors of his countrymen, but also against those opportunists who are always ready to compromise with the Devil. He perceives very clearly that the world is in greater peril from those who tolerate or encourage evil than from those who actually commit it.
A few minutes later on Sunday, Trump shared the first of several ALL-CAPS messages, writing “HAPPY EASTER. WE WILL, MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN! DONALD J. TRUMP, PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES.”
Then, angrily, posted about “THE BUSINESSMEN WHO CRITICIZE TARIFFS” being both “BAD AT BUSINESS” and “REALLY BAD AT POLITICS.”
He then shared his “GOLDEN RULE OF NEGOTIATION AND SUCCESS” in a follow-up message.
And he switched gears to Russia and Ukraine, saying that hopefully the countries will make a deal and then “START TO DO BIG BUSINESS WITH THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, WHICH IS THRIVING, AND MAKE A FORTUNE!”
And finally closed out the approximate half-hour with a note about Monday’s White House Easter Egg event.
“ALL FUNDS, EVERY DIME, GO DIRECTLY TO THE WHITE HOUSE HISTORICAL ASSOCIATION. SEE YOU TOMORROW!!!” he wrote, signing it, “DONALD J. TRUMP, PRESIDENT.”
He was soon to launch a second burst of posts, including on the subject of Kilmar Abrego Garcia.
