Trump Removes Security Clearances For His Former NY Prosecutors And ‘Bad Guy’ Antony Blinken: ‘Take Away His Passes’

President Donald Trump removed the security clearances for former Biden administration officials and the New York prosecutors who prosecuted him before the election.
According to the New York Post, Trump removed the clearances for former Secretary of State Antony Blinken, Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, and New York Attorney General Letitia James.
When asked about the decision to remove Blinken’s clearance, Trump told the Post, “Bad guy. Take away his passes…This is to take away every right they have [revoking security clearances] including they can’t go into [federal] buildings.”
James filed a lawsuit on Friday along with 18 other Democratic state attorneys general over the Department of Government Efficiency’s (DOGE) access to the Treasury Department’s payment system. Both James and Bragg prosecuted Trump in New York last year.
Moreover, Trump removed security clearances for other Democratic officials and former Biden appointees, including Former National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan, Biden’s Deputy Attorney General Lisa Monaco, and attorneys Andrew Weissmann, Mark Zaid, and Norm Eisen.
The Saturday evening decision by Trump comes just a day after the president revoked Joe Biden’s access to classified information and secure federal buildings as well as his access to presidential daily briefs.
“There is no need for Joe Biden to continue receiving access to classified information,” Trump said on Truth Social. He added:
Therefore, we are immediately revoking Joe Biden’s Security Clearances, and stopping his daily Intelligence Briefings. He set this precedent in 2021, when he instructed the Intelligence Community (IC) to stop the 45th President of the United States (ME!) from accessing details on National Security, a courtesy provided to former Presidents. The Hur Report revealed that Biden suffers from “poor memory” and, even in his “prime,” could not be trusted with sensitive information. I will always protect our National Security — JOE, YOU’RE FIRED. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!
