Trump Rips Netanyahu Over Intelligence Failure: ‘He Was Not Prepared’
Former President Donald Trump ripped Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, calling the leader “not prepared” after Hamas launched a series of coordinated terrorist attacks in Israel over the weekend. More than 1,100 people were killed and more than 100 were abducted. The size and scope of the attacks shocked Israelis and others around the world in what many have called a massive intelligence failure.
On Wednesday’s Jesse Watters Primetime, guest host Brian Kilmeade previewed an interview he conducted with Trump on his radio program, The Brian Kilmeade Show. Trump told him:
We have to protect Israel. There’s no choice. And we have to do it. He has been hurt very badly because of what’s happened here. He was not prepared. He was not prepared and Israel was not prepared. And under Trump, they wouldn’t have had to be prepared.

Who would’ve thought their intelligence wouldn’t have been able to pick this up? Thousands of people were involved. Thousands of people knew about it and they let this slip by. That was not a good thing for him or for anybody.
“And when he says ‘him,’ he means Prime Minister Netanyahu that was not prepared for this, caught blindsided,” Kilmeade told viewers, making clear the former president was not talking about say, President Joe Biden.
Kilmeade’s question about Netanyahu being “distracted” may have been an allusion to the fact that the leader is currently under indictment for corruption and has been seeking to overhaul the country’s judiciary in a wildly unpopular move critics say is a power grab.
