Trump Condemned Following Report He May Pardon Multiple Accused War Criminals: ‘A Huge Injustice’

Twitter is having a field day with President Donald Trump‘s reported move to pardon a number of alleged and convicted war criminals.
Social media users began sharing the New York Times article that reported Trump had reportedly made the request Friday to begin building pardon files for multiple military service members convicted and accused of crimes like murder.
The move to pardon more military service members comes after Trump’s pardon of Michael Behenna, who had been convicted of killing an Iraqi during an interrogation in 2008 before his pardon earlier this week.
Here is some of the blue check talk on Twitter:
Trump is threatening to pardon US military members accused or convicted of killing civilians and other war crimes. Think of the horrible message that sends to would-be war criminals around the world. https://t.co/yEsDAfR8lX

Trump is getting ready to pardon some of America’s most horrifying recent war criminals. A huge injustice to those whose lives they destroyed and a message that America will tolerate war crimes: https://t.co/2uBwqa6sDy pic.twitter.com/5TloLVJgXH

He liked how mad his adversaries got when he pardoned one war criminal, so now he wants to pardon more of them.
He didn’t examine these cases. He just asked, “Hey, find me some convicted war criminals to pardon.” pic.twitter.com/F8xafFdBnW

Eddie Gallagher’s own SEAL teammates say they messed with the sights on his rifle to screw up his aim because he kept targeting women and children.
Definitely Trump’s kinda guy https://t.co/OBw7EmwVZR

This is one of the guys that Trump proposes to pardon. Someone whose behavior was so bad his fellow SEALs blew the whistle on him. What is the message to whistleblowers? pic.twitter.com/bo6z7wF9Hc

Great, remember all the men and women that died serving their country with honor to show boat pardons for war criminals. These men are a disgrace to the uniform and don’t deserve a pardon. https://t.co/rkx76pS6Wu

Gonna say this again—this incentivizes the commission of war crimes by our opponents and allies, and in doing so puts US servicemembers at greater risk. https://t.co/jsEmw7UHn8

A number of right-leaning personalities and politicians, in particular Rep. Duncan Hunter (D-CA), have in the past have announced support for Eddie Gallagher and Matt Golsteyn, who are reportedly among the people being considered for a pardon from Trump.
This dirtbag is being released…and American warfighters and patriots like Army Lieutenant Clint Lorance, Green Beret Matt Golsteyn & Navy SEAL Eddie Gallagher are locked up.
We sent these men to war to kill the Taliban and ISIS!
We are so dumb.
