‘You’re Not the Pope, Bro!’ Alex Jones Goes OFF Over Trump Throwing His Epstein-Disgruntled Fans Out of MAGA

Longtime conspiracy theorist and Trump ally, Alex Jones, pulled no punches on Wednesday in hammering President Donald Trump for trying to “excommunicate” followers who still want clarity on the so-called “Jeffrey Epstein Files.”

“If you talk about this, I’m going to excommunicate you,” Jones began in a clip, mocking Trump’s latest attacks on his own supporters.

“Well, you’re not the pope, bro. I mean, you are not speaking from the throne ex cathedra. And plus, I’m not Catholic. The thing with Catholics, it’s just—give me a break. Anyone who disagrees with anything I say is banished,” Jones continued, adding:

And I’m not saying Trumpland is a cult. The Democrats are the cult of hating reason and logic and common sense. But when Trump starts behaving like that… it starts getting into cult territory, and I bet since I talked the first hour and said I’m not in this cult, that’s what it’s turning into, I bet there’s already news articles about it. But I went on to say Trump is not a cult yet, but behavior like this starts going down that road.

But I guarantee you, if it’s not out now, it’ll be out in the next hour, and it’ll be, ‘Jones says he’s left the Trump cult.’ No, never was in the cult, not saying it’s a cult, but this is starting to become cult-like language. Watch, it will be those exact headlines. I just don’t know how they operate.

Because it’s formulaic. These people are followers. These globalists are repeaters.

Later on in his lengthy rant, Jones went through some of Trump’s statements from the day while declaring he’s “trying to save Trump.”

“Trump says Pam Bondi can release any credible documents from the Epstein case. That’s good. And he goes on to say, ‘I lost a lot of faith in certain people because they got duped by the Democrats.’ No, you guys did a 180, and then a 180, and then a 180, in the last 10 days. And it’s bizarre, and it’s the worst way to handle this,” Jones fumed, adding:

But I get it—Trump doesn’t give a fuck. And so he doesn’t care how it looks. Maybe that is the 10-D chess. I mean, let me tell you, world leaders are scared of him. Because we’ve had nothing but politicians for 40 years that were controlled by globalists. We got a real president who’s in charge.

And that means when he makes mistakes, it’s a big deal; when he makes good decisions, it’s a big deal.

I mean, that scares the whole globalist system. So I’m really happy about that, man. I need Trump to succeed. His enemies are my enemies, but I don’t claim to be Trump’s consigliere, but I am kind of a consigliere to the public that respects what I say, and my record stands on its own. And I’m not gonna sit there and give bad counsel to the public or Trump or anybody else. I will not do it.

Trump’s Wednesday comments sparked further fury in the ongoing battle over the fierce backlash from an early July DOJ and FBI memo claiming that Jeffrey Epstein’s “client list” doesn’t exist and that the convicted sex trafficker killed himself in jail.

In a social media post, Trump slammed Democrats and added, “Their new SCAM is what we will forever call the Jeffrey Epstein Hoax, and my PAST supporters have bought into this ‘bullshit,’ hook, line, and sinker. They haven’t learned their lesson, and probably never will, even after being conned by the Lunatic Left for 8 long years.”

He continued by accusing those in his MAGA base who continue to focus on Epstein of being like Democrats.

“I have had more success in 6 months than perhaps any President in our Country’s history, and all these people want to talk about, with strong prodding by the Fake News and the success starved Dems, is the Jeffrey Epstein Hoax,” he wrote. “Let these weaklings continue forward and do the Democrats work, don’t even think about talking of our incredible and unprecedented success, because I don’t want their support anymore!”
