‘I’m Tired of People Trashing My Team!’ Dallas Cowboys Superstar Micah Parsons Goes Off Over Media Criticism

Dallas Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons has grown fed up with the way the media criticizes his team in comparison to the rest of the league.

After an embarrassing 42-10 loss to the San Francisco 49ers in Week 5, the Cowboys got back on track Monday night when they beat the Los Angeles Chargers 20-17. On Tuesday, Parsons expressed frustration at the way his team is still being portrayed.

According to Parsons, the media has given other teams excuses when they fail but hasn’t given the Cowboys the same grace. An example he gave was the 49ers’ upset loss to the Cleveland Browns.

“(FS1 analyst Emmanuel Acho) said this, which pissed me off,” Parsons said on his podcast The Edge. “He said, ‘I’m not worried about the 49ers. They were missing Christian McCaffrey. They were missing Deebo Samuel.’ This is what pisses me off about that: (when) they started that game, the Browns were missing Deshaun Watson. They were missing Nick Chubb. They were missing Jack Conklin. They were missing those key factors before the game even started.

“So why is it that we are just scrubs and we’re nobodies that don’t deserve to be on the field and we’re all talk, but there’s a hundred excuses for these other teams? If y’all are just gonna hate Cowboys nation, just say y’all hate Cowboys nation… Keep the same energy for everybody.”

Parsons also came to the defense of quarterback Dak Prescott, whose performances this season have been a frequent subject of debate in the media.

“I’m just calling out the BS because I’m tired of people trashing my quarterback,” Parsons continued. “I’m tired of people trashing my team; and that’s why I had nothing to say to the media this week. I just wanted to say, if you wanna hear me talk, come hear me talk on The Edge on Monday night. And that’s just what it’s gonna be.
