Trump Rails Against Charles Koch For Defending ‘Foreign Workers’, Calls Into Question His GOP Donations

President Donald Trump took aim yet again at the Koch Brothers on Thursday, calling into question the extent of their political donations and firing back at their opposition to his tariffs.
Trump’s first attack on the Republican mega-donors came on Wednesday, via Twitter, when he called them a “total joke” and declared “I don’t need their money or bad ideas.”
Speaking to reporters in the wake of Trump’s broadside, Charles Koch didn’t hold back: “This is ridiculous, we should just get rid of all barriers except on things that will hurt people,” he said.
“Yeah, it’s unfair. It’s unfair to their people,” Koch continued, referring to countries affected by Trump’s trade policies, per ABC News.
Fox Business Network’s Lou Dobbs picked up on this, accusing Koch of caring more about “foreign workers” than American workers.
Trump echoed that rhetoric in his Thursday morning tweet.
“Charles Koch of Koch Brothers, who claims to be giving away millions of dollars to politicians even though I know very few who have seen this (?),” Trump tweeted, “now makes the ridiculous statement that what President Trump is doing is unfair to ‘foreign workers.’ He is correct, AMERICA FIRST!”
