Alabama Rally Loudly Boos When Trump Mentions John McCain

When President Trump first mentioned John McCain tonight––in the context of health care––boos rang out from the Alabama rally-goers.

Trump mentions he was given a list of senators who were “absolute no’s” on health care and then mentioned McCain. The crowd immediately booed.

“John McCain was not on the list,” the President said, “so that was a totally unexpected thing. Terrible.”

McCain, of course, made the bombshell announcement today that he can’t support the Graham-Cassidy health care bill.
