Ana Navarro Knocks Trump: ‘Like He’s Playing Battleship in Between Golf Games’

After mixing it up with former GOP lawmaker Nan Hayworth last night over President Trump’s reaction to Russia’s expulsion of US diplomats, CNN political commentator Ana Navarro was back at it bright and early this morning. This time around, the Republican strategist took aim at Trump’s increasingly heated rhetoric towards North Korea.

In the wake of the president’s early-morning tweet stating that U.S. military solutions are “locked and loaded” if North Korea acts, Navarro stated that she felt a level of comfort that Trump is surrounded by “measured” military minds and combat veterans.

However, after praising Chief of Staff John Kelly and Defense Secretary James Mattis, Navarro noted that Trump has “no idea what he’s doing” before directing some prime insults the president’s way.

“This is a guy who went to military school and thinks that makes him a military expert,” she stated. “As far as I’m concerned, it’s like he’s playing Battleship in between golf games at his golf course.”

Trump’s recent provocative comments on North Korea have taken place while he’s been on a 17-day working vacation at his Bedminster, New Jersey golf course.
