Bill Maher Credits Donna Brazile for Joining Fox News: Looks ‘Weak’ for Dems to Avoid Network

Bill Maher has recently been criticizing Democrats and the DNC for avoiding Fox News, and last night in his online-only Overtime segment, he gave former DNC Chair Donna Brazile credit for joining the network as a contributor.

Last month Maher directly told House Intel Chairman Adam Schiff to go on Fox News more and “get in the bubble.” In a subsequent show he ripped the DNC’s decision not to do any debates on Fox News and said if liberals want to call themselves the resistance they should be willing to fight behind enemy lines.

During that latter segment Maher singled out Congressman Eric Swalwell as the one Democrat willing to go on Fox News so much. Swalwell was one of Maher’s guests last night and the HBO host raised the issue to him.

“You’re the only one who goes,” Maher said, before bringing up the news about Brazile joining Fox News.

“She said exactly the same thing… that you’ve gotta go where the people are and you’ve gotta talk to people who don’t agree with you,” Maher continued. “It’s another way the Democrats look weak.”
