Bill Maher Settles the Debate Over Who’s Less Bad: Trump or Cruz

Bill Maher ended his show tonight by settling the debate once and for all over who is truly worse: Donald Trump or Ted Cruz.

Democrats really despise both and there are a lot of Republicans who can’t stand either candidate. Maher sort-of sympathized and said the GOP “somehow ended up with Mussolini and Joe McCarthy.”

He compared Trump to Cruz in a bunch of different ways. For example, Maher said Trump “is like ebola, he’ll violently kill you right away,” whereas Cruz is Zika because “we don’t see the damage until future generations.”

Maher also called Trump “the most thin-skinned person in human history” and in the question of who’s less horrible, he ultimately settled on…

Ted Cruz.

Maher said for as bad as Cruz is, Trump is a “lunatic” who could possibly disappear people and end America as we know it. And so he threw on a hat with the slogan, “Better Ted Than Dead.”
