Eric Trump Says ‘People Had Respect for My Father’ as He Hits Biden on Afghanistan
Eric Trump appeared on Fox News on Wednesday night criticizing President Joe Biden for his handling of the Afghanistan withdrawal.
The Trump administration reached a deal with the Taliban to withdraw U.S. forces last. Biden has been slammed by Republicans and Democrats for the chaotic way the withdrawal has unfolded, and some Trump administration officials have criticized the deal the former president made.
Eric Trump told Jesse Watters Biden is “a national embarrassment.”
“The incompetence of this administration, the incompetence of this president,” he continued. “Our family, myself included. My father, every single day we fought for this country so this nonsense wouldn’t happen.”
Watters brought up hostages who were freed during the Trump administration and said that the Biden administration is choosing “to leave men and women behind.”
“My father could make it up a flight of stairs. He could make it onto Air Force One without falling down the stairs,” Trump said.
He added, “People had respect for my father.”
He put people in line when he had to, that’s what the commander in chief needs to do. Instead, Joe Biden’s literally kneeling in front of WNBA teams. Get off your knees, Joe Biden, stand up and actually show the world some leadership as the commander in chief.
He again said a bit later, “Our adversaries around the world respected us because we didn’t play games. And, you know, this guy is flushing the reputation of the United States of America down the toilet.”
