Fox & Friends Rages at Ryan Gosling For Moon Landing Flag Comment: He’s ‘an Idiot’
Rev up the outrage machine ladies and gents, a hot new movie about Neil Armstrong is out, starring Ryan Gosling, and it doesn’t include a shot of the big beautiful American flag being planted on the Moon.
“They decided not to use the flag in the film,” Fox & Friends‘ Ainsley Earhardt announced.
“Ryan Gosling, himself a Canadian, has some things say about whether Americans should get credit for this achievement or not,” co-host Pete Hegseth said.
Gosling spoke to The Telegraph about the omission of the flag from the movie:
“I think this was widely regarded in the end as a human achievement [and] that’s how we chose to view it. I also think Neil was extremely humble, as were many of these astronauts, and time and time again he deferred the focus from himself to the 400,000 people who made the mission possible.”
“Uh, here’s what I think: Ryan Gosling is an idiot,” Hegseth said on Fox & Friends. “He’s a global citizen who thinks a bunch of humans got together and said we’re going to go to the moon.”
“No, one country, compelled by capitalism, by free people, with a vision, said we’re going to do this,” he raged. “Yet revisionist actors in Hollywood then preach to us that it was a human achievement, and American had nothing to do with it?”
“This is where our country’s going,” Earhardt warned. “They don’t think America is great, they want to kneel for the flag, for the anthem. They’re scared to use the American flag. It’s Hollywood.”
