Fox News’ Howard Kurtz Addresses Bolling Suspension: ‘None of the Women…Have Come Forward’

In the wake of the big news out of Fox News that the network has suspended host Eric Bolling following reports that he sent lewd photos to female colleagues, Fox News media host Howard Kurtz addressed Bolling being sidelined. And it certainly seemed like he was going to bat for his colleague.

Right off the bat, he pointed out that the HuffPost story at the center of the suspension was based on “a dozen unnamed sources” and that it involved a situation that allegedly occurred “several years ago.” Kurtz then added this comment: “None of the women described in the story as being upset have come forward.”

The media analyst followed that up by reading a statement from Bolling’s lawyer in which the Specialists host complained that the “uncorroborated claims” in the report were “unfair and untrue.” Kurtz then went on to discuss the recent lawsuit filed by Fox News contributor Rod Wheeler alleging that a retracted story on slain DNC staffer Seth Rich was a coordinated attempt by Fox News and the White House to distract from the Russia probe.

Following the publication of the HuffPost story, a former frequent Fox News guest penned a lengthy statement about how Bolling subjected her to sexual harassment over a period of years.
