Fox News’ Shepard Smith Slams Trump Over Attack on Amazon: ‘None of That Was True’

Fox News’ Shepard Smith this afternoon called out President Trump over his continued attacks on Amazon.

Trump again claimed today the Post Office is “losing billions… because it delivers packages for Amazon at a very below cost.”

After playing the clip, a somewhat bewildered Smith said, “The Postal Service’s own numbers show it makes money by delivering packages for Amazon and other companies. As for taxpayers, the Post Office’s own site points out, and I quote, ‘the Postal Service receives NO tax dollars for operating expenses.’ None.”

He brought on John Roberts and said, “There is a great deal of confusion or something here regarding Amazon and the Post Office, ’cause none of that was true.”

Roberts noted how Trump is going after Amazon, in part, because of Jeff Bezos and the Washington Post‘s coverage of him.
