Geraldo Enters Into Shoutfest With Fox & Friends Hosts Over Integrity Of ‘American Napoleon’ David Petraeus

Geraldo Rivera entered into a heated argument with the hosts of Fox & Friends Friday morning over the topic of what, exactly, happened in Benghazi and Petraeus’ knowledge of it.

“It is inconceivable to me,” shared Rivera, “that this honorable warrior, this American Napoleon, this best general since Dwight Eisenhower, would ever dishonor his service because he was afraid the FBI was going to embarrass him with this extramarital affair. I think that — hold it, I just want to say this — that speculation is absolutely reckless and has no fact bas at all and it really is a disgrace to a man–.”

At this point, the hosts began speaking loudly over Rivera, insisting that Petraeus’ integrity isn’t the point, with host Gretchen Carlson at one point insisting that “I didn’t say it was my personal belief!”

Brian Kilmeade then shifted the discussion, saying that emphasis should be on Susan Rice and what she knew, when she knew it, and who told her this.
