Joe diGenova Rips ‘Disturbed’ Christine Ford on Fox News: Like an ‘Adolescent’ With ‘Psychological Problems’

Former prosecutor Joe diGenova — who was once in the running to be President Donald Trump’s lawyer — ripped Christine Blasey Ford on Fox News for her testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee.

Ford’s appearance, in which she laid out her accusations against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, was widely seen as honest, clear and believable. Trump himself, never one to believe the accuser, even called it “credible.”

Not Joe diGenova. Appearing on Fox News Sunday night, the lawyer tore into the professor for her testimony with his signature nuance:

“Quite frankly, her testimony the other day was far from credible,” he said. “She’s a very, very disturbed woman with clear emotional and psychological problems. This is a 55-year-old ‘adult’ who testified like an adolescent. Not a single corroborating detail.”

The lawyer also claimed that Ford lied when she said she was unaware the committee had offered three times to visit her in California. Then, diGenova noted that Ford’s lawyers knew about the invitation, so Ford must have.

“That means she’s either dumb as a post or she lied to the committee under oath,” diGenova continued. “I think Christine Ford is a very sad woman and not a thing that she said should be believed and none of it has corroborated.”

“Well okay, that’s a strong view Joe, I have to say I don’t agree with that,” Fox News host Steve Hilton reacted.

“She may very well believe that something happened to her, but none of it relates to Brett Kavanaugh, and she presented no evidence other than her stark raving testimony that it was he,” diGenova concluded.

“Joe is right,” Fox News contributor Lisa Boothe added.
