Lindsey Graham Warns Trump: You Tweet About Investigations ‘At Your Own Peril’

Senator Lindsey Graham really doesn’t think President Trump should be tweeting anything about the ongoing special counsel investigation.

On Face the Nation, John Dickerson brought up how Trump has been tweeting about the investigation, the FBI, and James Comey, particularly this:

After years of Comey, with the phony and dishonest Clinton investigation (and more), running the FBI, its reputation is in Tatters – worst in History! But fear not, we will bring it back to greatness.

Graham first made it clear he does not agree that the FBI’s reputation is “in tatters,” as the President did.

He said Comey needs to answer some more questions because he made decisions “that were really very, very wrong,” but the President needs to be careful:

“There’s an ongoing criminal investigation, Comey may be part of it. You tweet and comment regarding ongoing criminal investigations at your own peril. I’d be careful if I were you, Mr. President.”
