‘More of His Insulting Comments’: Fox’s Kilmeade Lashes Out at Biden for Calling Unvaccinated Americans Not Smart
Fox News’ Brian Kilmeade was outraged over President Joe Biden saying people who still refuse to get the coronavirus vaccine are “not nearly as smart as I thought you were.”
Kilmeade’s umbrage came up Wednesday on Fox & Friends while he and his colleagues reacted to the CDC’s new recommendation that fully vaccinated people should go back to wearing masks in public if they’re in areas stricken by the highly-contagious Covid delta variant. As Kilmeade criticized the CDC over their messaging, he groaned “are we going back to politicians looking at CDC guidelines and deciding what’s best for us? We tried that road, we don’t like that road. We don’t wanna get medical advice from politicians.”
Kilmeade went on by arguing that people have their reasons for not getting vaccinated and “that’s their risk.” This ignores the fact that unvaccinated people are more likely to get infected by the virus — which has killed over 600,00 Americans so far — and pass the contagion along to others.
Kilmeade’s greatest contempt, however, came when he reacted to Biden saying a vaccine mandate for all federal employees is under consideration, and “if you’re not vaccinated, you’re not nearly as smart as I thought you were.”
“More of his insulting comments,” Kilmeade complained. “Remember his comments: you ain’t black if you’re not voting for me? He just said last week ‘do I suck the blood of children?‘ Then called the one guy that asked questions about his health, are you a junky? He accused Facebook of killing people. What is with him and unthoughtful phrases?”
Steve Doocy also chimed in during the segment to say that the pandemic is largely bound to the unvaccinated now, and the Biden administration can’t mandate that everyone in America has to get the shot.
“Instead,” Doocy added, “they’ve convinced the CDC and worked in coordination with the CDC, and now, what they are doing is masking all of us, essentially punishing the people who got the vaccine because the people who didn’t get the vaccine should not be spreading.”
