O’Reilly Dismisses Allegations Against Trump: ‘Anyone Can Say Anything’
As Bill O’Reilly spoke with Newt Gingrich tonight, he reacted to the sexual assault allegations against Donald Trump with some dismissiveness.
O’Reilly lamented how “salacious stuff” always overrides policy as Gingrich complained about how “very serious reporting” has replaced by what he considers “absurdity.”
One such example he cited was the New York Times report on women who say Trump inappropriately touched them, and that led O’Reilly to say this:
“I don’t even get into that stuff, because if it’s filed––you know, if there’s something filed and the police are investigating, then… but anybody can say anything at any time.”
Gingrich was more appalled by the media “piling on” than what these women are alleging.
