SNL Lampoons NFL Chief Goodell over Domestic Violence Scandal

You knew it would happen. And it did.

For its 40th season premiere, Saturday Night Live went after the NFL for its various scandals involving domestic abuse.

CNN’s Candy Crowley (played by Aidy Bryant) grilled a pair of ex-NFL’ers (Kenan Thompson as Ray Lewis; Jay Pharoah as Shannon Sharpe) who were unable to give coherent answers to simple questions about the league’s reputation as well as their own criminal records.

Meanwhile, Chris Pratt made his appearance as bumbling NFL commissioner Roger Goodell, who indicated the only support he’s received was from Redskins’ owner Dan Snyder.
