Trump Torches Bannon: ‘When He Was Fired, He Not Only Lost His Job, He Lost His Mind’

So President Trump has responded to the new book featuring some pretty damning Steve Bannon quotes, and, well…

Bannon, who once said there was “nothing” to the Russia investigation, reportedly trashed the infamous Trump Tower meeting by saying, “Even if you thought that this was not treasonous, or unpatriotic, or bad shit, and I happen to think it’s all of that, you should have called the FBI immediately.”

Today’s presidential statement, attributed to Trump himself, belittles Bannon’s role in his election, blames him for the Alabama loss, says he “pretends to be at war with the media” as he leaks “false information,” and accuses him of trying to “burn it all down.”
