Tucker Carlson Demands to See Ketanji Brown Jackson’s LSAT Scores: ‘Americans in a Democracy Have a Right to Know’

Tucker Carlson demanded to see the Law School Admission Test results of President Joe Biden’s nominee to the Supreme Court.

Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson is the first Black woman ever nominated to the high court. She currently serves on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia. During his presidential campaign, Biden pledged to nominate a Black woman to the Supreme Court if given the chance.

Last week, he delivered on that pledge weeks after Justice Stephen Breyer announced he will retire.

On Wednesday, the Fox News host reacted to Biden’s State of the Union speech the previous night.

“Biden went on to mention someone called Ketanji Brown Jackson,” he began. “That’s not a name most Americans know because Ketanji Brown Jackson has been an appellate judge for less than a year. But Joe Biden assured us that she is, quote, ‘one of our top legal minds.'”

Carlson aired a clip from Biden’s address in which he said, “We all know one of the most serious constitutional responsibility a president has is nominating someone to serve on the United States Supreme Court. As I did four days ago, I nominated circuit court of appeals [judge] Ketanji Brown Jackson – one of our nation’s top legal minds.”

The host responded by demanding to see the results of Jackson’s LSAT test.

So, is Ketanji Brown Jackson – a name that even Joe Biden has trouble pronouncing – one of the top legal minds in the entire country? We certainly hope so. Biden’s right. Appointing her is one of his gravest constitutional duties. So it might be time for Joe Biden to let us know what Ketanji Brown Jackson’s LSAT score was. How did she do on the LSATs? Why wouldn’t you tell us that? That would settle the question conclusively as to whether she’s a once-in-a-generation legal talent, the next Learned Hand. It would seem like Americans in a democracy have a right to know that and much more before giving her a lifetime appointment, but we didn’t hear that.

Notably, there appears to be no record of Carlson publicly demanding to see the LSAT scores of other recent Supreme Court nominees, such as Amy Coney Barrett, Brett Kavanaugh, and Neil Gorsuch.
