Gayle King Challenges Omarosa About Rumors of Romantic Relationship With Trump

Omarosa Manigault Newman appeared on CBS Morning to promote her controversial new tell-all book Unhinged, which paints a most unflattering portrait of President Donald Trump. The topic du jour is Omarosa’s allegation that Trump had used the “n-word” multiple times while on the set of the reality show The Apprentice where the two first met roughly a decade and a half ago.

Amid the back and forth between President Trump and Omarosa there have been alleged rumors of an illicit romantic relationship. At least according to CBS Morning co-host Gayle King who challenged the former Senior Presidential Adviser in the Trump White House.

Omarosa stridently rebuked the notion that there was any personal romance between the two, instead calling theirs a “symbiotic relationship” in which the reality show host and self-proclaimed billionaire was her mentor. She continued to claim that the unsubstantiated rumor of affairs was a standard play to explain a woman’s rise to success and vehemently denied any such relationship ever took place.
