Glenn Beck and Mark Levin Bash Fox GOP Debate: ‘Despicable,’ ‘Upsetting’
Mark Levin went on fellow conservative radio host Glenn Beck‘s program following his CPAC speech Friday, with both men trashing Fox’s handling of Thursday night’s Republican debate.
Levin began by saying the debates were entirely pointless at this point. “I said to myself, why are they still debating? Do we learn a damn thing out of any of these debates? Seriously.”
“I think Megyn Kelly really does have a problem with this stuff,” he continued. “I think she went on way too long about Trump University… we’ve got over $200 trillion in unfunded liabilities, nobody’s been asked about that yet. We’ve got issues that really matter to the American people.”
Beck slammed the choice of subject matter: “I thought it was despicable last night, it was despicable.”
“It was upsetting,” Levin agreed.
“If I was watching that with my kids last night, I don’t know what I would’ve said. On the opening volley, ‘Yeah, I’m pretty well endowed.’ What do you say?” Beck asked.
The radio hosts put the blame for the nasty and unsubstanstive debates on the networks. “They like the ratings,” Beck said.
“They like the ratings,” Levin agreed, “and they don’t give a damn about conservatism… their agenda’s different.”
