Bill Clinton Shrugs Off Protester Shouting ‘You’re a Rapist’ At Campaign Rally

Bill Clinton had to deal with some unexpected company on Wednesday when he was interrupted by at least one protestor who shouted at him that he’s a “rapist.”

InfoWars, the pro-Donald Trump conspiracy website, has been encouraging people recently to get on TV and yell “Bill Clinton is a rapist” in order to blast Hillary Clinton with her husband’s alleged sexual misconduct. As Bill Clinton was campaigning on his wife’s behalf yesterday in Iowa, at least one man in the crowd interjected and started yelling.

“Give that guy a hand,” Clinton said in an instant response. “They’ve had a very bad week in the Trump campaign, and he feels bad. Give him a hand!”

As the man was led away by security, Clinton attributed the remarks to misinformation that comes from following a single news source.

“That’s what’s wrong with American politics,” Clinton added, addressing the vitriol. “I don’t want you to treat them the way they treat you.”

Hillary Clinton and President Obama have both been met with similar interruptions over the past several days.
