‘FAKE NEWS’: Donald Trump Responds to Tax Return Fallout

President Donald Trump was uncharacteristically quiet on Twitter last night as MSNBC anchor Rachel Maddow dedicated the full hour of her show to showcasing a leaked 1040 form from his 2005 tax returns.
That changed early Wednesday morning when the president broke his silence on the story. In a new tweet, Trump attacked journalist David Cay Johnston claim’s that he was mailed the tax documents.
Does anybody really believe that a reporter, who nobody ever heard of, “went to his mailbox” and found my tax returns? @NBCNews FAKE NEWS!

The revelations last night ignited a storm of controversy. Pundits from both the left and the right said the reveal was over-hyped and underwhelming, and raised new questions about whether they were released by Trump himself.
The president, however, didn’t seem to dwell on the issue for long. Only minutes later, he moved on to a new beef with the rapper Snoop Dogg.
Can you imagine what the outcry would be if @SnoopDogg, failing career and all, had aimed and fired the gun at President Obama? Jail time!
