Limbaugh: ‘I Never Expected Trump to Actually Prosecute’ Clinton
Rush Limbaugh is well aware a lot of people are unhappy about Donald Trump likely not prosecuting Hillary Clinton, but he said today, “I never expected Trump to actually prosecute her.”
“Standard protocol for politics” dictate, as Limbaugh argued, that defeated political enemies are not generally prosecuted. He did highlight how there were calls for the incoming Obama administration in 2009 to prosecute George W. Bush‘s administration and how it took a while before they were cleared.
In addition, Limbaugh said that if Clinton was prosecuted, no Republican would be safe from “Democratic harassment and prosecution.” And that’s not even considering the reciprocity he thinks could happen if Clinton was actually convicted…
For the record, Trump himself indicated he wouldn’t completely rule out investigations, but did say he doesn’t want to “hurt” the Clintons any more.
