Mitt Romney Is Reportedly Meeting With Trump This Weekend

romneyMitt Romney is meeting with Donald Trump this coming weekend to discuss a potential role in his administration, CNN reports.

A source close to Trump’s transition said that Trump and the 2012 Republican presidential nominee will discuss “governing moving forward” and a potential role for Romney in the presidential Cabinet.

During the 2016 campaign, Romney was vociferously anti-Trump to the point where he said he wanted to see Gary Johnson on the debate stage.

You’ll recall Romney delivered that big #NeverTrump speech back in March, in which he ripped Trump over his failed businesses and said he’s not smart on foreign policy.

Oh, and then there was the time he said it was disqualifying for Trump to not release his tax returns.

And the time he warned about Trump giving way to “trickle-down racism.”

So that should be a fun meeting.

UPDATE –– 3:12 pm ET: One report says Romney may be up for Secretary of State:
