NRA Radio Host Responds to Bryant Gumbel: We Aren’t ‘Pigs’

NRA News radio host Cam Edwards responded on Thursday to Real Sports host Bryant Gumbel‘s recent comments calling NRA members “pigs.” In an interview with Rolling Stone earlier this week, Gumbel said there are “a few things” he hates more than the NRA, adding they are a “curse upon the American landscape” and they do not care about human life.

Edwards didn’t take to kindly to those comments, telling TheBlaze that Gumbel must not spend a lot of time around NRA members.

“I could introduce him to mothers and fathers, veterans and active duty members of the military, law enforcement officers, doctors, and paramedics I know who are proud members of the NRA,” Edwards told TheBlaze. “The NRA members I know value human life enough to want to protect themselves and their families from those who would do them harm. They’re not pigs. They’re good people.”
