Planned Parenthood Supporters Disrupt Fiorina at Event, Throw Condoms

Planned Parenthood supporters showed up at a Carly Fiorina event in Iowa yesterday––at a tailgate before a Hawkeyes game––and threw condoms in protest at the GOP presidential candidate.

During the last Republican debate, Fiorina rather strongly brought up the controversial Planned Parenthood videos and challenged Hillary Clinton and others to watch them. Planned Parenthood and others have strongly disputed Fiorina’s claims about the videos, but she is not backing down.

Protesters at Fiorina’s event in Iowa chanted things like “Layoffs, lies, no surprise, Carly fumbles for these Hawkeyes!”

In response, Fiorina told reporters, “I think they’re scared that the people of America are starting to look at what’s really going on in a Planned Parenthood clinic.”

At one point, one woman asked Fiorina why she doesn’t support women’s health care. Fiorina responded, “Oh, I support your health care. I don’t support the butchering of babies.”

And the protesters also ended up throwing condoms at Fiorina.
