I work hard and pay health insurance. Then the free market uses my money to treat obesity-related diseases. Wouldn’t it be more efficient to stop insuring obese people? Why doesn’t the free market segregate obese people into one insurance pool and healthy people into another. Why should I subsidize the health care of obese people?

had a small story on employment gains in New Jersey.  In that story,
the Labor Department reported that the employment figure was 3,881,000. 
Using this number and subtracting the January 2010 employment figure
from it, the net gains since Governor Christie has been in office is
28,400 new jobs in the state.

If you go back to the story from the Tampa Bay Times, you will find that
between January 2010 and January 2011, New Jersey LOST 23,700 jobs. 
Remember, when Governor Christie started his term in office, 3,852,600
people had jobs.  At the end of his first in office, January 2011, only
3,828,900 had jobs.

How about we do a little bit of calculating and see if we can find
that 60,000 number.  If you take the January 2011 report of 3,828,900
and subtract that from the December 15th report from NJ.com
of 3,881,000, you will find that the state had a gain of 52,100 jobs. 
Now being a good politician, the Governor would naturally “round” that
number up to 60,000.  Why not, who is going to check out his numbers
anyway, except for CNJ.

Let me ask you something, what if the Governor was your financial
advisor.  For argument sake, you gave him $100 to invest.  He would be
paid a commission based on how much he made for you.  At the end of the
first year he had lost $50, so your account was worth $50.  At the end
of the second year, your account grew to $150.  Chris Christie then sent
you a bill saying that he had made you $100 would you pay it, when the
net difference in your account over the two year period was only $50?  I
know I would not.

He really has to, you’re so right.  He’s nearly 50, fast approaching the age where that excess weight is really going to show up in some serious physical issues.  Being in health care, I’d bet his knees are shot; he’s a walking stroke and/or heart attack waiting to happen.  The body is not built to carry all that weight, especially the heart.  For his heart, it’s like carrying an extra person around all the time.  I’ve already heard he’s got asthma, and he’s headed for some other nasty stuff like type 2 diabetes, serious loss of mobility, etc.  Oh well, he’s already admitted it’s his own fault; at least he doesn’t make excuses for his situation.

His fat mouth, however, is a whole ‘nuther thing.

He looked very bloated in that video.  Even from a wide angle he took up a third of the screen.  I don’t really care though.  A lot of people are obese in America.  I hope he loses his weight not because I’m making fun of him but he is looking very unhealthy.
