Scott Walker Bashes the Media for ‘Baiting’ Conservatives
Governor Scott Walker was recently asked two things about President Obama: whether he loves America, and whether or not he’s a Christian. His answer to both was the same: he’s not sure.
His uncertainty of the president’s love of country or Christian faith got the media all over Walker, and Walker is so tired of it he has a new op-ed out denouncing the media’s tactics in going after Republicans.
Most of Walker’s USA Today op-ed is about reaffirming conservative values and stating what he believes in. But then, he writes this: “There has been much discussion about a media double standard where Republicans are covered differently than Democrats, asked to weigh in on issues the Democrats don’t face. As a result, when we refuse to take the media’s bait, we suffer.”
He brings up how he was baited by the media into answering questions about the beliefs of others. Walker says, “If you are looking for answers to those questions, ask those people.”
