Senator Scott Brown Links Anger Behind Austin Pilot Crash To His Election
Massachusetts Senator Scott Brown did his first national TV interview since being elected today with Fox News. Given the big news story of the day, host Neil Cavuto opened by asking for his thoughts on Joseph Stack crashing into an Austin IRS office building. After initially recognizing the tragedy and showing feeling for the families affected by the tragedy, Brown immediately connected the anger and frustration that fueled his election to Senate to the tragic events that unfolded in Texas earlier that day. Too soon?
Claiming that from his experience getting elected, he could sense that people “want their elected officials to be accountable” and to “talk about the things that affect their daily lives” then later hedged a bit saying that “he didn’t know if there was a connection” between his election and the apparent suicide attack of the plane into a government building in Austin.
