Stormy Daniels Suing Her Ex-Lawyer, Claims He Was in Cahoots With Michael Cohen

As Stormy Daniels continues her legal battle against Michael Cohen, she’s now suing her former attorney for allegedly working with President Trump‘s personal lawyer to diminish her story.
NBC has learned that Daniels has submitted a court filing which claims that Keith Davidson, who represented Daniels before Michael Avenatti, concocted a plan with Cohen to get her to appear on Sean Hannity‘s show several months ago. The goal was to get Daniels on Fox News and give a false denial about her alleged liaison with the president, which Cohen paid her $130,000 to keep quiet about.
The lawsuit makes note of several text messages Davidson and Cohen sent to each other when Daniels’ story was starting to make waves earlier this year. Avenatti gave a statement in the new lawsuit where he said the texts prove Davidson violated client confidentiality, and that he was informing Team Trump about Daniels’ movements and legal strategy.
“These text messages show that the prior denials by Mr. Trump and Mr. Cohen relating to what Mr. Trump knew and about the honesty of my client were absolute lies. There was a significant cover-up here as part of an attempt to deceive the American people and Mrs. Trump and we intend on getting to the bottom of it.”
The text messages presented in court show Davidson speaking to Cohen about what to do with Daniels as the news cycle around her story continued to evolve. Cohen alludes to “wise men” who were keeping track of the situation, which is allegedly a reference to Trump’s inner circle and possibly the president himself.
