Trump Rails Against ‘WITCH HUNT’ After Raid on Lawyer: ‘Attorney-Client Privilege is Dead!’

President Donald Trump took to Twitter to rail against the FBI’s raid on his personal lawyer Michael Cohen, claiming the move is part of a “TOTAL WITCH HUNT” and that “Attorney-client privilege is dead!”
Trump’s tweets follow his remarks to reporters on Monday that the raid is a “real disgrace” and “an attack on our country.”

A TOTAL WITCH HUNT!!!

Like most of Trump’s tweets, these two can likely be traced back to the president’s favorite morning show, Fox & Friends.
The show has been questioning the merits of the raid this morning, which was carried out on Cohen’s hotel and office in Manhattan, and Harvard Law Professor Alan Dershowitz declared in an interview that it marks “a very dangerous day today for lawyer-client relations.”
“If this were Hillary Clinton being investigated, and they went into her lawyer’s office, the ACLU would be on every television station in America jumping up and down,” Dershowitz said. “The deafening silence of the ACLU and civil libertarians about the intrusion into the lawyer-client confidentiality, is really appalling.”
