Warren Buffett’s Sister Is Loaded, Too — And Generous
Doris Buffett is my new favorite person (next to Diane Savino, of course). Like her brother Warren, she is loaded. And she loves giving away her money to help people. CBS News profiled her last week, and I say good for them for highlighting such an inspirational example of philanthropy as the holiday season kicks off. Watching this video is amazing — “They needed a swimming pool but didn’t have the money. So I wrote them a check!” Someone put her in touch with Frank Buckles!
David Shuster On Media Bias, Drudge, Andrew Breitbart, And James O’Keefe

MSNBC's David Shuster made an appearance at yesterday's White House briefing, and afterward, sat down for an interview for Mediaite. While not a regular presence in the briefing room, Shuster is more than qualified to render an opinion on the journalism being practiced there, and that distance allows him to make fresh observations. In this preview of our interview, I asked Shuster for his take on the position of people like Andrew Breitbart, Matt Drudge, and James O'Keefe in journalism. His response was rather surprising.
Conservative Bloggers Loved The CBO Before They Hated It
The Congressional Budget Office released its preliminary estimate of the Senate health care bill yesterday. Upon the report’s release, conservative bloggers and pundits began trying to discredit the CBO, saying that the office allows Democrats to cook the numbers and its estimates are often not a good indicator of reality. And if the CBO is so unreliable, then these bloggers wouldn’t cite it uncritically when it favors their positions, right?
